Summary Scorecard

That's it for today. The league phase is done and dusted. Over to the playoffs and it is Qualifier 1 tomorrow between TUTI Patriots and Chepauk Super Gillies. Tune in for that. Cya!

Vijay: The boys came up with a plan and executed it. That's exactly what we spoke yesterday (about bowling tightly at the start). Vignesh started well and set the platform for us. We know that if we pick early wickets, we will be through. It does not matter who we are playing. I would tell my boys to go out there and showcase their skills.

Indrajith: I thought we were 15-20 runs and that is because we lost a couple of wickets in the powerplay. The main area of concern was our inability to pick wickets in the first six overs. The positive is we have done well with the bat at the start of the innings.

Anirudh Sita Ram, Man of the Match: It is a great feeling to go to the playoffs. Our next aim is to do well in the eliminator. The plan was to keep rotating the strike and we did the basics right. The wicket was a bit slow and the spinners were getting the ball to turn.

A calculated run chase by Kovai Kings. They lost Murali Vijay early, but the pair of Suryaprakash and Anirudh Sita Ram steadied the innings. Trichy Warriors fought back by removing the set batsmen, but another 50+ partnership between Rohith and Akshay sealed the game for Vijay's team.

18.4 J Kaushik to Akshay Srinivasan, 1 run, Lyca Kovai Kings are through to the playoffs. Handshakes all around. The winning run comes through a misfield. Back of a length ball and Srinivasan mistimes the punch to mid-on, where the fumble occurs

18.4 J Kaushik to Akshay Srinivasan, wide, slower ball bouncer and Srinivasan ducks under it. Called wide for height

18.3 J Kaushik to Akshay Srinivasan, no run, tucked to the man at mid-wicket

18.2 J Kaushik to Rohith, leg byes, 1 run, slower delivery and Rohith is early into the heave, rapped on the pads and the ball rolls to the off-side. No appeal for LBW as the ball was heading down leg

18.1 J Kaushik to Akshay Srinivasan, 1 run, short of length on off, pulled to deep mid-wicket

Jagannathan Kaushik [2.0-0-14-0] is back into the attack

17.6 B Aditya to Akshay Srinivasan, 1 run, slower and on off, Srinivasan is early into the pull and the top-edge lands safely, well in front of the long-on fielder

17.5 B Aditya to Rohith, 1 run, flatter and on the stumps, wristed down to long-on

17.4 B Aditya to Akshay Srinivasan, 1 run, another loft to the man protecting the extra cover fence

17.3 B Aditya to Rohith, 1 run, full toss outside off, Rohith comes down the track and lofts it to deep extra cover

17.2 B Aditya to Akshay Srinivasan, 1 run, pushed wide of cover for an easy single

17.1 B Aditya to Akshay Srinivasan, SIX, rank long hop and Srinivasan has deposited it into the stands, rocked back and nailed the pull over deep mid-wicket

B Aditya [2.0-0-11-0] is back into the attack

16.6 J Kousik to Akshay Srinivasan, 1 run, full delivery, driven to mid-on

16.5 J Kousik to Rohith, 1 run, off-pace delivery and Rohith works it to deep mid-wicket
