Another Net-test Awaits Pandya To Be Bowling ReadyHardik's bowling is set to be assessed again on Friday

Hardik Pandya, the Indian all-rounder, could be available to bowl in the match against New Zealand, set to be played on Sunday (October 31), subject to his progress in the bowling pracice session on Friday.

Pandya bowled at the nets on Wednesday, and it is understood that he should be ready to bowl his quota of four overs, if needed, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

However, the Indian team management will ask him to bowl again on Friday to check on his fitness and decide if he could be picked for the New Zealand's match. There was no net session on Thursday.

The 28-year all-rounder had an injury scare during the first match against Pakistan, having been visibly in pain on his right shoulder. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said he was taken for scans. He did not field that night in Dubai and the subsequent MRI scans report cleared him.

While Rajeshwari (30), a left-arm spinner, has some issues over her ankle, Arundhati (24), a right-arm seamer, has a shoulder injury. Both will have to remain at the NCA till they achieve full fitness.
