Spare a thought for the Queenslanders, it has been a horrid day for them: firstly seeing Australia lose a Test series in front of their home ground and now their home team, the Brisbane Heat, messing up a run-chase. It's the Mebourne Derby tomorrow. Do join us for all the action from that game. Until next time, goodbye and good night!! Colin Munro, Player of the Match: Everyone asked if we can only play at Optus after the loss in the last game, great to bounce back, that's what good teams do. We did that well as a collective unit. It's nice coming in after the two Poms (Roy and Livingstone). They are world-class and they go hard. Today, I could take my time as well. I built my innings. This is one of the best bowling attacks I have ever played with. Outstanding bowlers, very good preparation when you got to face them in the nets and then come and face other teams. We will rest, probably have training and then see how it goes. 22:30 local: Chasing what looked like a competitive total, the Heat seemed to have everything under control until the half-way mark. Lynn's 16-ball 27 at the top also gave the other batters a bit of cushion in terms of run-rate pressure, but the wicket of Gregory in the 12th over opened doors for a massive collapse in which the Heat lost their last 7 wickets for 29 runs. A tough loss for the Heat considering their winning momentum (won 4 out of their last 5) and their remaining three games are going to be very nervy affair for their fans. The Scorchers though are flying high after a slow start to the tournament. This is their 6th win in the last 7 games and Colin Munro has been a key part of their comeback as he scored 4 fifties in their last five games. Fittingly, Munro has been awarded the 'Player of the Match' award, let's see what he's got to say... 16.4 Fawad Ahmed to Morne Morkel, out Caught by Hardie!!
