Until tomorrow, which is a virtual knockout between England and West Indies, on behalf of us, ta ta!! Andrew Puttick | MoM : I just tried to keep it simple out there. the pitch was really good, outfield was quick and it was great to bat with Morne. He kept me calm. In the middle overs we wanted to push the Bangladeshis in the field. I wanted to push the ball in the gaps and push for twos. We just wanted to take it deep and win the game because a couple of guys were carrying niggles. We did our best out there and we're still standing, so hopefully we'll do it again in a couple of days. Can't wait for the semi-finals. Jonty Rhodes: I think I wound the clock back too far (laughs). It's not to assess any injury straightaway so we'll give it a bit of time. It was really important to have a 10-wicket win, amazing from our openers to go all the way through and carry their bats through. A couple of wickets in the end could have made it close. We know upfront that they have a couple of good players, but we knew wickets could curtail them. The SL Legends are practicing really hard. They're playing well, but a couple of players are carrying them through and hopefully we can get them early. Khaled Mahmud: We started very well in all the matches but just couldn't finish it off and that has been a problem in all our matches. The Mashud run-out was crucial because we were going well at that stage. There is a bit of dew, but Morne was exceptional and they picked the right moments. It has been a great tournament for us to participate in. We didn't train very hard before coming here because it was organized in a hurry. It isn't an excuse but we could've done much better and hopefully if we come back next year we will. 22:18 Local Time: They may have taken 19.2 overs but not for one moment did the South African Legends give the impression of not being in control of this chase. So much so that the number three batsman wasn't even required. Morne van Wyk and Andrew Puttick were very clinical, with van Wyk taking his time at first to settle in while Puttick played the role of the enforcer before quickly switching roles at the half-way mark and making sure there was no twist. Also, importantly, with this win they've qualified for the semis . Bangladesh's bowlers would be slightly disappointed, because although they bowled with decent control, they lacked any sort of incision. Stick around, the presentations are coming up .. 19.2 Mahmud to van Wyk, FOUR , it's it. An overcooked delivery and van Wyk unwinds off a high backlift to pump this straight down the ground 19.1 Mahmud to Puttick, 1 run, flat, on off, flicked, but straight to deep mid-wicket 5 runs | 6 balls RSAL: 156-0 after 19 overs 18.6 Razzak to Puttick, 1 run, short, outside off, stabbed backward of point 18.5 Razzak to Puttick, 2 runs, fuller, straying into the pads, whipped round the corner 18.4 Razzak to Puttick, FOUR , this should be the game .. full, in the slot and slogged away through square leg 18.3 Razzak to van Wyk, 1 run, juicy full toss, but Wyk misses out, going through his sweep early and miscuing it to short fine leg instead 18.2 Razzak to Puttick, 1 run, full, quietly driven down to long-on 18.1 Razzak to Puttick, 2 runs, goes one-kneed, and drags this slog off the under-edge through square leg Abdur Razzak [3.0-0-11-0] is back into the attack 16 runs | 12 balls .
