The inquiry into the matter will continue once the Supreme Court appoints an Ombudsman.

The Committee of administrators has provisionally indefinite suspension lifted on cricket players Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul, with immediate effect, the BCCI said in a press release on Thursday (January 24). With the investigation of the matter to be continued as soon as the Supreme court shall appoint an Ombudsman.

"The above matter and the decision was made, with the match of the learned Amicus Curiae, Mr. P. S. Narasimha. In view of the above, the suspension, dated 11.01.2019 lifted pending the appointment and assessment of the allegations by the BCCI is a citizen of the immediate supervisor," BCCI said in the statement.
