Tom Curran and Foakes have signed on until 2021

The England trio of Sam Curran, Tom Curran and Ben Foakes have signed contract extensions with defending County Champions Surrey. Sam will stay with club until the 2020 season while his brother Tom and Ben Foakes have signed three-year deals keeping them with the side till 2021.

Sam Curran, 20, was the breakthrough star of the home Test series against India claiming the Player of the Series award for his sterling performances with both ball and bat. He was subsequently snapped by IPL side Kings XI Punjab for a whopping INR 7.2 crore.

Keeper Ben Foakes made his England debut in the following series at Sri Lanka and similarly walked away with the Man of the Series trophy as England ran away with a historic 3-0 whitewash of the hosts. Tom Curran, who will join the England squad for the white-ball leg of the West Indies tour, has recently sparkled with the ball for Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash League.

"I am very pleased to have extended the contracts of three of our current England players," Director of Cricket Alec Stewart said. It's a credit to everyone at the club that our players want to sign contract extensions and help play a major part in building on the success of last year."
