Mumbai Indians made light work of hosts Sunrisers Hyderabad in a low scoring affair in Hyderabad as they defended 136 runs. A quickfire unbeaten 46 by Kieron Pollard helped MI score 39 runs off the final two overs and reach 136. The hosts were never in the chase once the openers were knocked over inside the Powerplay. Debutant Alzzari Joseph, who replaced veteran Lasith Malinga in the playing XI, was the pick of the bowlers claiming a record-breaking six for 12 in his 3.4 overs .
