Yuvraj Singh's role in India's T20 WC and World Cup triumphs were extremely significant

Yuvraj Singh has announced his retirement from all forms of cricket bringing curtains to his 18-year old international career during which he appeared in 304 ODIs, 58 T20Is and 40 Tests. His last international appearance came in an ODI in the Caribbean in July 2017, while he played his last Test nearly seven years ago in December 2012. The pinnacle of his career came in the World Cup in 2011 where he was awarded Man of the Series for his all-round skills.
