Northern bagged a thrilling 39-run win, and sealed their place in the Quaid-e-Azam final, as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa folded for 205 despite fighting half-centuries from Israrullah and Zohaib Khan. After starting on 39 for 2, they soon slipped to 98 for 5 but Israrullah and Zohaib kept them going. The latter remained unbeaten but ran out of partners as Nauman Ali picked up four wickets for Northern. There were some jitters when Usman Shinwari and Zohaib scored 39 for the ninth wicket but Northern managed to hold their nerve to make the final.

The run-fest between Balochistan and Sindh ended in a draw with the latter taking a 44-run first-innings lead. After Sindh folded for 515 in their first innings with Fawad Alam completing the third century of the innings, Balochistan were 181 for 1 when the sides decided to end the game. Imran Butt smashed 101 off 99 while Imran Farhat too had his share of fun - ending with unbeaten 40 off 26 balls.

Central Punjab were 309 for 1 in their second innings, having started the day on 1 for no loss, when stumps were drawn on the final day. Earlier in the game they'd made 597/7 with as many as four centurions and then bowled out Southern Punjab for 392 thanks to Bilal Asif's five-fer.
