England Women took the three-match series against Pakistan 2-0 after the final One-Day International in Kuala Lumpur ended up being a washout due to incessant rain.

England opted to field on Saturday (December 14) and were kept at bay for a long time by openers Nahida Khan and Javeria Khan, who added 96 for the opening wicket. The pair, however, departed in the span of two overs as Nahida fell for 55, and Javeria for 37 as England roared back with quick wickets.

From 103 for 1, Pakistan were reduced to 145/8 thanks to Sarah Glenn's four-wicket haul and Anya Shrubsole's 3-32 before rain came falling after 37.4 overs. The relentless rain thereafter meant no further play was possible. Apart from the openers, only Omaima Sohail reached double figures, unbeaten on 27, when play was called off.

Brief scores: Pakistan Women 145/8 in 37.4 overs (Nahida Khan 55, Javeria Khan 37, Omaima Sohail 27*; Anya Shrubsole 3-32, Sarah Glenn 4-18) vs England - no result.
