Rahim is fresh from a match winning double-hundred against Zimbabwe in the one-off Test.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) hopes Mushfiqur Rahim would reconsider his decision regarding touring Pakistan, for the national team's final leg of the three-phase visit.

Rahim opted out from the opening two legs, which included three T20Is and one Test in late January and early February, due to safety concerns.

There is speculation that Rahim is reconsidering his decision about going to Pakistan for the final leg, for an one-off ODI on April 3 and the final Test of the series, to be played from April 5.

BCB stated earlier that they would respect the players' decision, should they opt out of the touring party. But BCB chief Nazmul Hasan is now hopeful that Rahim would join the team for the tour.

"He [Mushfiqur] has not informed us anything of such [to be part of Pakistan tour] yet but I hope he will go. All centrally contracted players should go. You need to think of the country and not always yourself. Everyone's family is important but the country in bigger," Nazmul said on Tuesday (February 25).

Nazmul asked Rahim to seek the advice of his brother-in-law Mahmudullah and other team-mates before making up his mind.
