Live Cricket Score – RCB Vs KKR, Eliminator, IPL 2021After two years of hurt, Kolkata Knight Riders finally have a chance at IPL glory.

KKR ARE THROUGH TO THE QUALIFIER 2!Ouch! That will hurt RCB! It's the second consecutive year that they've been knocked out in the Eliminator. That's that for Virat Kohli at the helm of the franchise. He's stepping down from his post as captain, ICYMI. But full credit to KKR who have outplayed RCB tonight. They came back brilliantly after Kohli and Padikkal started strong. The spinners then changed the game in the middle overs dominating RCB's batsmen who eventually ended up finishing with a below-par total of 138.

Iyer and Gill started strongly for KKR, but RCB made a brilliant comeback with some quick wickets. However, just when RCB were clawing their way back, one over from Dan Christia to Narine tilted the momentum in KKR's favour. Narine smashed three sixes in that over and the required run-rate dropped drastically. Siraj struck back with two wickets in an over, but it was an easy win for KKR thereafter with just 7 needed in the final over. They eventually beat RCB by 4 wickets.

KKR will now face Delhi Capitals in the Qualifier 2 on Wednesday (October 13). Can they advance to the finals to beat CSK? We'll find out soon. Thank you for your company today. Do join us on Wednesday! Goodnight.

Last over, 7 runs needed. Can RCB defend this?

Siraj bowls the 18th conceding just 3 runs and picks up 2 wickets!

REVIEW! An outside edge off Karthik is caught behind by Bharat, but the umpire sends it upstairs to be doubly sure. He's gone!KKR lose their sixth, but they're favourites at this stage. Surely? Still 13 needed off 15.

OUT! This time Narine has to go for 26. Siraj knocks him over with a slower one as he's beaten for pace. But KKR need just 15 now.

Lucky break for Narine

He gets early into a shot off Harshal Patel's bowling and gets a leading edge. Padikkal runs from midwicket to mid on but puts down the ball.

Chahal strikes again

Second wicket for Chahal Nitish Rana falls in his attempt to slog sweep, handing a catch to de Villiers in the deep. Only 16 runs conceded by Chahal in his four overs. But KKR still in control as they need 27 off 30.

Narine back to torment RCB

He did it with the ball, and now with the bat. Christian bowls the 12th over and is hit for three sixes by Narine, ending up conceding 22 runs. Although Chahal bowls it tight, KKR are well-placed at 107/3 after 13 overs.

OUT!! Iyer can't make the most of his reprieve, gets a little bit of glove and Bharat takes a good diving catch.RCB are clawing their way back into the game. Iyer departs for 26 off 30.

DROPPED!Iyer survives as Shahbaz drops a catch that should've been taken. He throws in the dive but is unable to hold on.

OUT! RCB review and they have it right! It was a quite strong appeal from Chahal but the on-field umpire adjudged it not out. But RCB are confident. It was the wrong ‘un. Pad first and three reds on ball-tracking! Tripathi has to go. RCB are ecstatic as Chahal strikes in his first over. The game is turning?

Avanish Tiwari @Avanish9116 @Kritzika I think Rcb should bowl out chahal and shahbaz ahmed for 8 consecutive overs, The Game is going off for them. 04:24 PM&nbsp&#149 Oct 10, 2021

KKR end their PP on 48/1.

Harshal Patel strikes!Slower ball on a better length, Gill comes down the track and holes out to de Villiers in the deep. The 41-run opening stand is broken.

KKR make a strong start!

Back for the chase in Sharjah. Can RCB defend this?

Krishna Gupta @Krishna40820119 @kritzika KKR show their brilliant masterclass from their bowling, Now it's RCB turn to show their Talentm!!!!! 03:31 PM&nbsp&#149 Oct 10, 2021

KKR have bowled beautifully and have restricted RCB to just 138 in their 20 overs. They turned it around after the strong powerplay that RCB had where they scored 49 runs. And since then, KKR have dominated thanks to their spinners. Narine picked four, while Chakravarthy and Shakib gave away very little in their four overs. The runs dried up, wickets fell and RCB couldn't find a way back from there.

To put things in perspective as to how Narine turned the game around, before this game, Narine in IPL playoffs conceded 4-276 in 36 overs, but today, his returns were 4-21 in 4 overs. He got the big wickets of Bharat, Kohli, ABD and Maxwell to not give RCB a chance to go past 150. They've finished with a below-par total in the end. Can RCB defend this? We'll find out soon, but KKR will feel they have one foot in the Qualifier 2 already. Join us for the chase.

And another! Shahbaz holes out in the deep.

A stat for you guys:Narine is the second bowler this season to dismiss all three of Kohli, Maxwell & De Villiers in the same innings after Harpreet Brar.

MAXWELL DEPARTS!KKR are strengthening their hold on this game! Narine has his fourth wicket as Maxwell looks to get a move on but ends up with a top-edge straight to Ferguson at short third man. He was struggling and now his struggles have been put to an end. Departs for 15 off 18. Narine finishes his spell with 4-21!!

REVIEW:Ahmed is given leg before and is given out, but there's an under edge. He survives, but KKR are on top! Runs are not coming easily here for RCB.

Gautam Bhimani @gbhimani Quite incredible !! #CricbuzzLive 03:11 PM&nbsp&#149 Oct 10, 2021

WOW! Knocked over de Villiers!!What a delivery that is! The offbreak and was full on the offstump. The delivery goes on to turn into the gap between bat and pad to knock out the stumps. De Villiers was looking to plonk it onto the legside and falls in the process. Departs for 11. Third wicket for Narine.

KOHLI DEPARTS!Narine strikes again and it's his second in just his second over. Right on the stumps, Kohli looks for the turn, there's none and he's knocked over. Goes for 39 off 33. He was tied down for a bit and he was looking to make a move on. Was not to be.

RCB in the first five overs – 0-49; Overs 5-10 – 2-21

kaushal @kaushal87733346 @Kritzika This is kkr's strength. Stifling the middle overs of other teams through their mystery spinners 02:46 PM&nbsp&#149 Oct 10, 2021

OUT!Narine strikes as Bharat falls for 9 off 15. Bharat was visibly struggling and the pressure took its toll. He holes out to Iyer in the deep. It could e a good thing for RCB actually.

Mitansh Sharma @mitanshh17 @Kritzika never been this tense. Possibly Virat Kohli's last match as rcb captain. Damn 02:30 PM&nbsp&#149 Oct 10, 2021

OUT! Ferguson strikes!Knocks Padikkal over for 21. RCB lose their first in the sixth over after a 49-run opening stand. Goes for the expansive drive, throws his bat at a wider one and gets an inside edge onto his stumps.

RCB make a good start after opting to bat.

Here we go! Eliminator time!! Shakib to open the bowling for KKR

Hari Krishnan R @imHarikrishnanR @Kritzika Morgan and Kohli with unchanged XI, It's really tough for Morgan considering his form. 01:59 PM&nbsp&#149 Oct 10, 2021

This is a game where both teams have a point to prove. KKR have had two years of hurt that they're looking to put behind them. RCB… well, if they lose, Virat Kohli's stint as the franchise's captain will have been put to a disappointing end with the Banglaore-based franchise bereft of an IPL trophy yet again.

Hello and welcome to the Eliminator between KKR and RCB in Sharjah. RCB seem to have found some zing, which is evident in their campaign so far. Yes, they had their disappointments in the UAE league, but have bounced back rather well on the back of Glenn Maxwell's consistency in their middle order. The bowlers have done the job too, and RCB look like the team to beat.

But they're up against the mighty Knight Riders who have turned things around rather well after an ordinary Indian leg, finding momentum in the UAE leg. Venkatesh Iyer has been a revelation and he's more often than not given his teams starts that they've built around.

Toss, teams, everything else, coming up in a bit! Stay tuned.
