Profile for Samad Fallah. Profile Updated On 20 Wednesday November 2019 165000000000
Born in Hyderabad, Samad Fallah is a first-class cricketer for Maharashtra, and represents his state in the domestic fold. The left-arm medium-pacer is a cunning customer for most batsmen, despite the lack of express pace in his armoury. His immaculate accuracy and his variations with angles and pace, make him difficult to negotiate for most batsmen, and hence, making him an essential part of the squad for over two decades. The fact that he ended the 2018/19 Vijay Hazare Trophy is a testament to his longevity and consistency, given that it was his 12th year in domestic cricket. Fallah was also picked by the Rajasthan Royals from 2011 to 2013, but never got a game due to the competition in the side. With just under 300 wickets in first-class cricket, he is a bowler who has been a domestic giant over the last decade and a bit but hasn't quite made the cut to play at the highest level, and is unlikely to do so in the future, given the low shelf life of fast bowlers.
