Ronit More is a right-arm pacer who has long lived under the shadows of Vinay Kumar, Abhimanyu Mithun and Sreenath Aravind. Picking up the sport at the age of 10, More has represented the state at U-15s, U-19s and U-22s. He even trained at the MRF pace academy under the guidence of Glen McGrath and was also choosen amongst a handful lot for the exchange programme in Australia where he featured for the Australian Institute of Sport.

More was one of the finds of Karnataka Premier League and he went onto make his FC debut for Karnataka in 2012. In the two matches that he played, Ronit picked up four scalps. CSK 's scouting team netted the pacer for 10 Lakhs ahead of 2013 IPL season; Ronit had to wait for two years to earn his CSK cap .
Part of the winning Karnataka team that lifted the historic treble, More switched to Himachal Pradesh in 2015 citing limited opportunites before eventually moving back to Karnataka for the next season. With Aravind's retirement, the right-arm pacer got his due and was included in the squad for the game against Mumbai in his hometown of Belgaum. It turned out to be an auspicious outing for More as he returned with a fifer in the first innings and made his presence felt.
