Matthew Kuhnemann's five-wicket haul helped bowl out South Australia just 9 runs past their overnight score of 93 for 102 in eight overs, conceding a 197-run lead to Queensland on Day 3.
After being asked to follow-on SA put on a much better performance in the second innings led by skipper Travis Head's 101. The openers started strong with a 58-run stand for the opening over. Head carried on thereafter to build SA's innings, striking 11 fours in his century. Harry Neilsen then chipped in with 42, while Nathan McAndrew (37*) and Daniel Worrall's (24) cameos helped SA finish with 284 as Gurinder Sandhu returned a six-wicket haul. Kuhnemann picked three to end the game with a tally of 8 wickets.
It left Queensland with just 83 runs on the final day after they went to Stumps on Thursday (November 25) on 5/0.
